I’m Simos Apergis, a Lead Software Engineer at Allwyn Lottery Solutions, working with distributed cross-functional engineering teams.
My journey
My career has taken me from enterprise banking software to digital products, architecture ownership, and engineering leadership.
At Oracle Financial Services, I worked across frontend and backend systems, with Java, PL/SQL, customer collaboration, and mobile integration. At Pricefox, I moved from backend work into frontend engineering, owning the architecture and delivery of a Property Insurance vertical and mentoring junior developers.
Since November 2024, I’ve worked at Allwyn Lottery Solutions. My responsibilities include career development, hiring, technical reviews, release planning, and collaboration with Product, Design, and Security.
